Shawn Raydo from Leawood, Kansas, has worked in the horticulture industry since 2016, first with Grass Pad then Family Tree Nursery and more recently with Dyna Green, a Hummert International company. Shawn Raydo is a brand manager with Dyna Green.

Mr. Raydo’s current responsibilities include calling on retail centers in Kansas and Missouri and providing expert knowledge in horticulture with a focus on Lawn Care, Fertilizers, Grass Seed, and Chemicals.

Mr. Raydo also negotiates and closes sales when meeting with independent dealers and stores. He also supervises inventory to make sure shelves are stocked, resolves customer issues, and contributes recommendations on expanding the Dyna Green brand. He also stays abreast of innovations in the industry through professional development courses and classes.

Shawn Raydo’s hobbies include fitness, yoga, meditation and competing in triathlons. Horticulture and garden is not only his career but also his favorite hobby. You could say he certainly born with a "Green Thumb". He continues to explore the world by backpacking in developing countries having once completed and 3 year around the world backing trip which took him 32 countries on 6 continents. Extreme action adventure and travel is his passion.

Shawn was formerly an NCAA Division I athlete at Syracuse University where earned bachelor’s degree in molecular biology. Many years later we attend UCLA where he received a master’s degree in Public Health.
